Indian Tobacco Company (ITC) has put its trust in Brunnschweiler technology for the supply of the drying and ventilation system for its board machine PM1A and Décor Paper PM4.
The scope of supply includes the hood, aerothermic Installation, hood, false ceiling and hall ventilation system.
The new, closed and insulated hood will be approximately 60 m long, 6.70 m high and 9.80 m wide and will span the pre-dryer section, the 12 m long post drying section and an open hood over the curl correction section. The hood is designed for a high dew point of 62 ºC
For the paper stabilization Brunnschweiler will supply last generation stabilizer and blowing boxes, of the following types:
- UFE: Stabilizer box in the Unirunsection.
- OPB: Blowing box Unifelt zone for air conditioning
- PV boxes: pocket ventilation blow boxes
- Felt box: Blowing box for the screen
ITC is planning to use the Chandrahati PM 4 to produce decor papers with basis weights from 50 to 110 g/m2 meeting international quality demands.
The new PM4 will be equipped with Brunnschweiler high dew point hood and aerothermic installation.
