Brunnschweiler has been selected by German paper manufacturer Niederauer Mühle for the project of the new PM-3 in Kreuzau. It is a partially recovered machine that will be upgraded and optimized to produce 250,000 Ton/year of test-liner of 125-200 g/m² weight. Start-up is foreseen on April 2011.
Our supply includes the closed hood over predrying and afterdrying section, equipped with the most advanced materials and designed to minimise heat loses, eliminate condensations and improve energetic efficiency. With 8 m of height and 10.5 m of width, the hood will be 47 m long in predrying section and 13 m in afterdrying section. Besides, Brunnschweiler will supply two new aerothermic groups, the ventilation system for machine hall, with its water circuit, and the steam and condensates installation. As usually, Baltogar fans will integrate our installations.
This is the first project for Niederauer Mühle developed by Brunnschweiler, which has wide experience in the German market after several projects and a close collaboration with the most important paper manufacturers in this country.
