Last October two new machines started up, PM-9 and PM-10 of Tiger paper group Yueyang Paper Co. Brunnschweiler has participated in this big project with the supply of the aerothermic installation and the ventilation system for both machines, including high performance closed hoods.

These new machines are 5,280 mm wide and each produces 791 Tons per day (100% efficiency) of Copy Paper and Premium Offset Printing Paper, with 55-120 g/m² basis weight. They are designed for operating at 1,300 m/min and they work at the moment at 1,200 m/min.

For both machines we have supplied a closed hood 70 m long predrying section and 20 m long afterdrying section, 10 m wide and 8 m high. Brunnschweiler hood provides great benefits in terms of drying and energy saving, basically:

• Energetic consumption reduction in the drying section
• Sound proofing and improvement of the hall ambience conditions
• Assistance in the control of longitudinal and cross direction drying

The aerothermic installation is complete with a blowing and exhaust system, heat recovery system and zero level and dew point control, as well as the former and pulper ventilation.

Nowadays Yueyang Paper has eight paper machines to produce 1,000,000 Tons per year of lwc paper,copy paper and offset paper, and five pulp lines with a capacity of 650,000 Tons per year.
